The Finance and Management Service (FMS) Basketball Team, as they call themselves FMS Bullies, are ready to take their journey to bringing home the championship in the upcoming DSWD-SWEAP Central Office Summer Sports Activities which is set to happen from March to May 2023.
The twenty-three (23) member team shall compete with the other groups from the different Offices/Bureaus/Services (OBS). According to Mark Angel Pascua, team captain, their strategy for this year’s tournament will focus on establishing a solid defense. The team will start practicing next month, however, they make sure that they play at least once every week to sustain the required physical condition for the game. Moreover, incorporating sports as an essential part of organizational activities can help reduce work-related stress.
This is the second year of the resumption of sports activities in DSWD since the pandemic. Other sports activities which will be conducted include Volleyball, Chess, Table Tennis, and Darts.
