Despite the fact that all government offices are closed on July 24-25, 2024, due to typhoon Carina, the following Financial Management Service-Cash División employees namely Ms. Grace Ann S. Nísperos, Ms. Rosalía P. Bísuna, Ms. Joceíyn Obríque, Ms. Desiree Decano, Ms. Roneth Bacani, Mr. Aldren Maleo, Mr. Royston Solomon, Ms. Sandy Gabaldon, Ms. Río Evangelista, Ms. Isabel Teologo, Mr. Raymond Lamberte, and Ms. Melodina Abar proved the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) service brand of “Maagap at Mapagkalingang Serbísyo.” Similar to other DSWD personnel who braved the typhoon and,  risking their safety,  came to work by providing assistance to individuáls in crisis situations (AICS) and ensuring that essential functions are not disrupted, even during challenging circumstances.
This dedication, while seemingly risky, sheds light on their commitment, sense of responsibility, and the impact of their actions on the workplace environment.
The motivations behind this behavior can foster a more nuanced approach to managing workplace dynamics and employee relationships. Ultimately, it underscores the importance of open communication, respect for policies, and maintaining a healthy work culture especially during challenging times.
